I know lots of Muslims and don't know any that haven't condemned the atrocities that have been committed in their name. Shame you have such an insular and - dare I say it - completely wrong outlook in the issue. I would have expected that from certain other posters, but really would have expected more from you to be honest fella.
My biggest worry with Muslims is the broader use of Sharia law in this country. Surely that cannot be right and is unfair to the rest of us. I regard myself as pretty liberal although as I have said previously, probably less so now than when I was younger, but feel that we have to put a mark down and say look you are living in our country, you have to abide by our laws. That to me is not an unreasonable stance because I certainly would not expect other countries to change their laws if I was to emigrate somewhere.
I don't think "the average muslim in the street " wants to force us to live under Sharia law especially the few that live in Norfolk.
My stepfather watches Sky News for hours and Is always banging on about foreigners coming over here and your Muzzie wanting us to live under Sharia law etc etc, I have to remind him that he moved to Spain 20 years ago and he is in fact the foreigner.
I know mate, I honestly do wonder about some people sometimes As if Sharia Law is going to come in over here, dear me I guess it's probably typical of the mentality of people who have maybe never lived outside Norfolk or at least have almost certainly never lived in a multi-cultural, cosmopolitan city like London. I see burkas and hijabs every day and never bat an eyelid, I might be wrong but get the impression that wouldn't be the case for the "average Norfolk person on the street".
It's a fear of outsiders , I have been to pubs in Banham since moving away with people that have London accents and you get the locals muttering about "townies" and that's with white English people. I'm starting to think some of the people on here live in the village from American warewolf in London .
Thery're probably muttering about "townies" buying so many second homes in God's own county and pricing the locals out of owning their own home TBH.
I lived in Norfolk from aged 5 to 17 years old and don't consider myself an outsider. I guess If you are not married to your cousin then you are not classed as "local" ?. And we were not buying any houses we were just stopping for a few jars.
I don't think that wife swapping is odd if that is what you are both into, or indeed multiple wives or husbands. Sex is nobody else's business whatever the variety. I lived in Luton in the mid 70's so I am not a Norfolk boy, I am actually from Suffolk. No my criticism was exactly the reverse, I am a libertarian, I dont think a religion has any business telling people what to do in their private lives. A friend of mine's daughter married a Kenyan and converted to Islam. Two kids and rapidly going wrong because he has used her to get UK citizenship and nothing else.
I know im not rich, I have just worked my arse off to get where I am and I am happy that the company can help people who want to get on in life. My grammar and spelling is awful, I know. Never been my strong point. I can work out gross profit margins though.
Cruyff will punch your ticket . Just don't invite any weirdo Muslims . please log in to view this image
As much as I loathe Osbourne the house does not belong to him the same as #10 not belonging to Camoron . When they finally get booted out someone else will move in.
