This is the best kit we have had in my 21 years following Fulham but I do agree, Black boots would complete it perfectly, it could still be ruined though with a tasteless sponser Pizza Hut would ruin any kit

With the UK as Florida’s number one overseas market, the opportunity to engage with fans around two passions – travel and football – is vitally important to VISIT FLORIDA. As the Main Team Sponsor its familiar blue logo will now adorn the front of Fulham Football Club’s brand new home, away and third kit. In addition, VISIT FLORIDA shall have signage rights and be featured on the Riverside Stand roof at Craven Cottage on the landing approach from London’s Heathrow Airport. The exciting partnership will also provide significant opportunities for VISIT FLORIDA to engage with Fulham fans and the wider football fan base, through social and digital media platforms and bespoke marketing initiatives. Home to Chairman Shahid Khan’s Jacksonville Jaguars, Florida is famous for its impeccable beaches, beautiful year-round weather and some of the bluest seas in the world. Established in 1879, Fulham is London’s oldest professional football club and is renowned for its friendly, family atmosphere, which makes the partnership with the sunshine state’s official tourism board, offering the whole family a myriad of activities, the perfect fit. “I love Fulham and I love Florida, so naturally it brings me a lot of satisfaction to see two of my personal passions become one,” said Fulham Chairman Shahid Khan. “But what’s most important is how much this partnership makes strategic sense for both Fulham and VISIT FLORIDA. One of my stated goals has long been the expansion and development of Fulham as an international brand, particularly in the U.S. VISIT FLORIDA has a great tourism and leisure story to tell in the competitive London and UK market, and I don’t think there can be a better way of communicating all Florida has to offer than through the power and following of Fulham Football Club. This will be an outstanding partnership. Plus, the kit looks fantastic.” “VISIT FLORIDA is thrilled with this partnership with Fulham Football Club” said Paul Phipps, VISIT FLORIDA’s Chief Marketing Officer. “It provides us with a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of Florida’s diverse range of active holiday options and experiences including world-class sports, wonderful beaches and amazing theme parks.” Why the Club didn't come clean and make an announcement when it was "leaked" beggars belief.
I'm sure this was plan B or C and plan A fell through at the last minute so we had to go with it. There were a few rumours during the week that we'd be playing the first 2 games of the season with no sponsors because FIFA wouldn't sign off on the one we proposed. At least it's done and we can start complaining about something else now.
Visit Florida is a ‘not-for-profit’ State organisation so perhaps they were curious where the money was coming from. As the blurb emphasises, this is Mr Khan’s homeland and he is looking to get approvals and stuff for a big riverside development over there. Not that I’m suggesting for a second that he put his hand in his pocket and this is a way to get funds to the Club through the back door, you understand.
I would find that extremely ironic if FIFA (a non-profit organisation) were concerned about what another one was doing with their money. I suppose though if anyone knew the tricks and cheats of balancing the books it would be them.
Mr Khan and a riverside development ??? always have my suspicions as to what side of the pond is the riverside
