Brentford striker Andre Gray’s proposed move to Hull appears to have fallen through - for now. The Tigers failed with two initial bids for last season's Bees too scorer, but lodged an improved £6.5million offer with a further £2m in add-ons. In Elmo, Odubajo, Robertson and Clucas, Bruce has 4 players who can play either at fullback or on the wing. Suggests to me that he plans on playing exciting attacking football with constant overlapping. Not sure on Clucas but the other 3 are very pacey as well. Really looking forward to this season
I'd save the 8 million on this Gray and use it to pay Jelavic and keep him fit for the season, one good season at this level, I smell Jay Simpson at 8 times the cost

Keep Jelly for a year, that would cost about 3 million in wages, and buy him an oxygen tent to live in, or a mini version for his knee. Thats 4 or 5 million saved on some London lad who might not want to be here anyway like I said, Jay Simpson Volume 2. The other lad seems well up for it at least.
