So you think somebody who's never worked a day in his life born in the UK, sponging chav has more of a right to treatment on the NHS than an immigrant who comes to this country and contributes to the economy? I'm a bit lost as to how we apply this sort of filter on the system.
Many of them prop up the economy though mate, like I said, are the parties just ****ing around with too many ideas in parliament to deal with the situation? It's simple to get somebody to say "You're not qualified to do **** all, ****off back where you came" but in reality, it breaks all the rules set out by the EU and ECHR etc. A web we're well and truly stuck in for the foreseeable future.
Are they bollocks, they're working cash in hand in takeaways and restaurants and mostly staying in the country illegally contributing nothing.
I'm purely on about the ones who are grouping in properties, not the people using the system properly.
Then there's no point in debating this any further, my father in law came here in the 70's with £3 in his pocket and never took a penny from the system, he's probably contributed, along with his business partners around £100m into the economy of this country over the years.
You You set up a system. if they pay tax they get it because they're paying for it already. If they're not then they don't. It's not difficult.
What about the Brits who don't pay tax? That's discrimination isn't it. Breaks every rule in the book written by the EU. I'm not trying to provoke you Bri, I hope you're not reading me wrong here I just think it's way too complex to throw a blanket over it. I don't even agree with my friend's theory necessarily, I'm just trying to speak from his point of view and see what others think
Did he group in houses, here in the country illegally working cash in hand jobs, hiding from the authorities and doing everything possible to remain invisible? No, obviously not because you've just said he contributed so I'm obviously not on about him. Let me reiterate, it's them who group in houses, off the system my comment was about, I stated it crystal clear. People who imigrate within the rules don't apply to me comments. That's why these threads don't work, because people don't read posts properly then apply sentiment on others behalf.
Crossed wires mate, no harm done. You thought I meant the specific immigrants you were talking about, when I made the 'propping up' comment, but I was referring to immigrants on the whole. No biggie.
I thought this was about immigration? Off the back of an extremely one dimensional theory. I'm not ignorant enough to pigeon hole all people who don't pay tax, there's a big difference between people who fall onto benefits out of school and play the system to people who have paid in and become incapacitated. Don't like this thread. I'm getting out of it.
Not all fella, if the correct process if followed then I've no problem, but then the problem in this country is not and has never been about people who come here and study and work under the correct process, the problem is with those who don't, and it's a massive, massive problem.
@Defive in a Row bin this thread when you get chance mate. Not really doing a very good job of pitching my mate's opinion and it's going downhill pretty quickly.
Not at all mate. I'll just keep out of it. Politics is not the place for me atm, I should have known better.
Probably best mate, I'm not gonna be on a lot over the weekend and I don't wanna start a fire and run off!
