His agent has ruined his career. He is going on loan because Liverpool will be paying some of his wages. He will run his contract down in the hope of getting big wages as a free transfer. He and his agent are complete mercenarys. Forgot tge lads career its all about the money. Its a shame as he could become a top player.
Don`t agree Liverpool blew it mate. They agreed with us. Borini thought he was better than us and Poyet made a fool of himself by pursuing him far longer than he should have. Who knows whether his agent played a part in it (or whether Borini now regrets not moving) but, it`s history now and there`ll be plenty of others do exactly the same.
Borini, ability and attribute wise would be a good signing right now, but I wouldn't want him anywhere near the club. I don't blame the agent on this one, the lad clearly believed in his own ability, sadly for him, he overrated himself. He will have a solid and distinctly average career back home.
After reading all the above comments, I suppose the only way to find out about his past intentions and his future aspirations would be to sit him down, without his agent, and ask him what HE wants to do. I reckon Adcocaat would be able to work his magic powers....and some of us would have to eat humble pie. But sadly, it ain't gonna happen !

I heard that it was all about who was going to pay the agent. Apparently Liverpool still owed us money for Henderson & Mignolet and that it was all going swimmingly well until the agent wanted his cut. We told him to do one and Liverpool said bugger off hence why the sale didn’t go through. Still all rumours, I for one would have loved him to have signed, maybe a cheeky 4-5m bid would have as another winger/forward option. I’d pay that for him, he always gave is all when he played. . . and so many memorable goals.
