Make sure you get plenty of Amino Acids and vitamins in you. They are essential. Check the PhD range, they also help with fatigue and recovery
Bloody hell TJ, Tees, you guys must be built like brick ****-houses. Remind me to apologise up front just in case in the next 30 years I spill your beer! I'm going to the gym 4-5 times a week and haven't got a ****ing clue what you guys were saying.
Good ta. I'm optimistic. All i could ask for is that our busness improves our squad and it has in abundance. Still couple of signings off mind but I'm sure they'll come. How do you think you're shaping up?
For lean muscle I'd stick to a whey isolate, plenty of greens (I use a nutri bullet) and a stack of water. The creatine will give you a bloat until you cycle off it, after a week or so you'll lose the water weight and look leaner. I really wouldn't bother with much else apart from a good diet. Look into 5x5 it's good for cutting, the 12-10-8 stuff is gonna add size and it seems that's not your main goal for now, strength training will cut without the gains. BCAA' are good for recovery but you can get a lot from a good diet, I'd only load up on them if my diet was iffy.
Aye but this has gpne of topic in the middle of a thread where many wont see. And seems a popular tppic. Like i said. Start a thread.
Just to annoy Comm........ I do a lot of rolling/mobility, which felt ridiculous at first, but boy does it help in advance of the workout (and generally). No more twangs/injuries, which is important at my age! I don't do big weights anymore as I naturally bulk up very quickly. It doesn't matter what order my sets are (12, 10, 8; 3 of 10 or whatever) - I just bulk up immediately and no creatin or 'owt like that required. So these days it's all about trying to build longer, leaner muscle for me...but keeping the power. Yesterday's session was (+35km on the bike) - aiming to through A-D in 20-30 mins: A. 40 push-ups + 60 squats B. 40 pull-ups + 60 lunges C. 40 sit-ups + 60 double-unders D. 20 burpees + 10 second handstand hold. As soon as you fatigue on any one movement you have to switch to the next. Being monitored you basically you get no break and any movement which isn't properly done doesn't count. On the last part, you switch to handstand hold if you slow down on the burpees - you soon learn never to take a break during the burpees, the handstand hold absolutely ****s you! Love it....
Maybe Comm will make us a thread, we can chuck some fitness chicks in it to keep him happy! That sounds great mate, sounds a bit military to me and I loved that ****, couldn't give up in case the whole team got punished! Good stuff mate.
Well nobody likes the ones that are too bulky, they take testosterone and end up with huge fat clits. Repulsive. I'm on about dem girls dat squat bro!
That's OK then - get a thread started someone! On the sort of fitness note - I started running again last night as my Dr gave me the all clear to start again after my eye operation a few months back - weighed myself before I started and I've lost 2 stone without trying - baffled completely as I have changed nothing - wondering if iot's stress down to the operation!!
I was on my own yesterday, with the trainer. I had no-one to turn to, the ****er. Went out the blocks too quickly on A, struggled like **** finishing B (pull-ups), and unless my chin got above the bar they didn't count. I must have had 10 like that. Anyway, 25mins all round was pretty good - only started training proper again last week. Having a kid + **** loads of work travel stuffs you up, like. Here's one for Comm: http://pictures2015.mobi/wp-content/uploads/janni-hussi-photos-3.jpg Great name!
It's definitely not stress mate, stress releases a hormone called Cortisol that actually has the opposite effect and stores fat. People tend to eat healthier in warmer months, without realising. You probably lost your appetite a bit as well with the op.
It's just about form mate, eventually you'll do less and less mistakes and your form will be perfect. No point having a body like a god if you stand like quasimodo, your posture has to be bang on to look good. My mate slopes to the left when he stands up straight, he looks hilarious after a big session. Finding the time in the day to do it is always going to pay off, you'll have more life to spend with your kids in theory, because you've looked after yourself! Edit: She is hot!
