Likewise When I was trying to find Jon at the fun day I asked a couple of people if they knew where the stand was, they looked at me blankly and when I started to explain what it was about one said he trying to sell us membership and walked off, I guess that goes down as a failure

Was Chris Lines gutted that he was unable to meet me? <laugh>

My wife would confirm that I was in a pretty foul mood on Sunday afternoon <cry>

Apart from gaining new members at the open day, how was the event? I seen via twitter a pic of all the players together that was sponsored which was a nice touch <applause>

I thought the "Open Day" was a big success i was in the dribuild for over 3 hours and sat watching as a huge queue formed to meet the players/DC and all i could see were happy excited faces enjoying the day - despite the weather which was awful! Lots of folk signing up for the SC and a really good atmosphere with the shop doing good trade I had a lengthy detailed chat with DC (well actually he talked one hell of a lot and i listened

) for over half an hour! His passion is outstanding! Also chatted with Barry B and i respect both men for taking the time to chat freely if possibly a bit too openly! I then had a few red wines too many with a certain GregsGas! so its a bit of a blurr after that - Gotta say well done to everyone at the club for their time and effort on a lousy day and even bigger well done to those supporters who turned up with smiling faces it was a pleasure to see and i met some brilliant Gasheads! Nice one JTS.

I will now be missing Northampton game and Birmingham game. Missing Northampton because im now attending a wedding. I wasnt going to go but my family was. They were getting a lift but that has now changed so I have to now go instead as im now the taxi. Its in Exeter! Missing the Brum game as I will be in hospital having something done on that day. I wont be allowed to drive or be on my own after for 24 hours!
So regarding the shirt... Im happy to go along with whatever you want. I can collect before or after or you can post it or meet up before a game following the Brum game? Im easy <ok>

    Hi JTS

I will be in the Blackthorn end before 2pm. They wont let me out and back in again. But, next to the ticket office you mentioned, there is the exit gate that they open at the end of the game to let people out of the Blackthorn end, by the pasty huts and portaloo's. If you are ok to exchange numbers (via pm of course), you can call me or vice versa when at the gates by the ticket office, will that be ok? If not then im happy to do it another way. Im easy <ok>

Also, above you got me down as Chris Lines AWAY shirt but in previous posts, you got me down as Chris Lines HOME shirt. Which one is it? Thanks <hug>
