CL over EL everytime, the money is massive of course as it means we can plan long term and not just on the pitch but improvements to stadium, training facilities etc. But it's also the prestige that comes with CL football, the calibre of players we have attracted the last few years has deteriorated in line with us losing guaranteed cl football. Getting out of group stage will show we are going forward, we keep the top players we have longer and attract better players in the future. I also kind of think the quality of teams has decreased since the recent changes, sure Barca, Madrid, Bayern etc are getting further away from us each year but there are plenty of beatable teams in the competition now. 3rd place gets us in the el too.

****ing delusional Tims. Rangers have been a basket case for years now. They were a basket case when Sir Walter won 3 in a row. So were Celtic, so is the whole of Scottish football. It's been a basket case for 40 years. How much money has Celtic made from the Champions league and European football in general over the last few years? How much money have they made from the sale of players over the last five years? How much of the money has been invested in youth development? How many players have made an impact into first team football from the Lennoxtown academy? Rangers and Celtic and/or any other club in Scotland can't compete with the revenue of the major countries leagues. Therefore they should have been Iinvesting in youth. Instead, Celtic in particular have been bringing in younge players from abroad and calling them "development players" Celtic youth teams have dominated their leagues for over ten yeats. They should be the "development players. Yet the players coming through have been few and far between. So much so they have resorted to pillaging Dunded Utd's youth players. It's a disgrace that the two richest clubs in Scotland don't have a steady stream of youth players coming through considering the millions they have spent on facilities. The likes of Utd and Hamilton put them to shame. That has to change. As for CL or EL . CL every time.
