Very difficult to say as no one knows how much he'll play. You're better off asking what his scoring rate will be. If he gets back to some decent form you should be hoping he'll be scoring around 1 goal for every 2 games he starts (as defending champs he should score more than that if he gets back to his old form, a lone striker in a dominating team should be banging them in), and 1 goal every 4 games or so off the bench.
He was a broken player before. He went to a lack lustre United side who played alien to his style. To be brutal but honest United punched well above their weight last season and nearly all their new signings struggled under a clueless manager. I think if Jose can get inside his head you may well see the Falcao of old and not the failcao he became.
He's off in January apparently. Given what a great job Jose has done with him I can see Barca and Real Madrid going head to head to try and sign him. Failcao was an appropriate nickname. Did you come up with it or, like the majority of your comments, is it a cut and paste of Deidre's work?
At least at United he had chances most games but missed them all lol at Chelsea he gets like one half chance a game if he's lucky.
Then you know more than Jose, he said he has heard nothing about Falcao leaving in January. Having said that, he also said he would get him back to his best so you are probably right, Jose is just a blagger.
Yeah but you lot took him thinking the same. We took a punt and it hasn't work. That's the chance we both took.
Very true, and we gave him chance after chance to get back into some form. Everybody could see he just isn't up to it anymore but Jose tried to be cleaver and prove he could do something LvG failed at.
Who knows, maybe Jose still thinks he can do it. I don't think so though. Personally, I think we needed a striker and ran out of options. Desperation I think they call it.
