Just saw Skybet have odds of 66/1 for city to go unbeaten in August and September ( nine league games ). Got to be worth a quid or two and make a night of it after the Blackburn game ( 26th September ). They are also offering 8/1 for us to win the league with Middlesbrough at 5/1 and Derby 6/1.
I nearly had a go on Andre been top scorer at 20/1 as I thought once he comes here we'll create loads of chance for him....honest
http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Championship-predictions/story-27550747-detail/story.html? Did anyone else read this? Suprised by how many people predicted Burnely to go up, I think they'll struggle for top 6 this season.
All 3 of the relegated clubs will struggle to make top 6. Derby, Boro and Wolves are going to take some stopping.
I ****ing well hope not. All my pals are off to a music festival on Saturday but me being me first game of the season obviously rules trumps. If we play like ****e with no atmosphere and lose I'll be pissed the **** off. Don't mind if we lose a good game though.
Burnsey certainly wont be having a punt....as he has us as more likely to go down than up this season. Nice when even your local resident commentator has faith in the team. Get your cash on us finishing 5th
At least he has an opinion (even if it might be to generate some controversy and increase the listeners). His job isn't to show blind faith in the team
Had a conversation with a friend at the weekend and we felt any one of about 10 teams could win the league. Even then, there could always be a surprise package as with Bournemouth last season. We have an idea which teams will be there or there abouts but this league is so difficult to call. Looking at the Premier League predictions, it's the same 4 teams leading the way as always.
I'd guess we will finish mid table or just lower , there are at least 8 teams stronger and better equipped than us, and then there is always a dark horse thats up the top end of the table Its gonna be a tuff season, but I'm sure we will stay up
Yes we have. We had a decent squad last season, too. We didn't really have the guts for it though. I think this focus on young, hungry players is key to how well we do. Having said that, we've binned off two of the most battle ready players we had so we might still be ****ed.
