That's not really the point is it? The Ref was the very definition of a "homer", matters not a jot whether I say it or Sutton said it, he was appalling.

Besides If you have an ex player commenting on his ex team you are hardly expecting a totally unpartisan opinion on the game anyway, and although Sutton can be accused of many things, he's hardly been a mouthpiece for Celtic in the media, quite the opposite.

 

The ref was spot on tonight. More should follow his lead.

Pish Its exactly the point.I made that post after Sutton said "no surprise it was a Celtic player booked " and "the booking was harsh" when Izzi was booked. He was booked for kicking the ball away after the ref had blown his whistle. An automatic booking if ever there was one. Instead of slating the Celtic player for his stupidity he insinuates that the ref made a mistake.

As for your pish about the ref being a "homer". I watched the game without green goggles and he let Celtic off with just as much as the other team.
