Before anyone starts, no I haven't taken leave of my senses!

People were commenting on the lack of activity lately,

but I was passing Roath Park today, and there was a swan sailing serenely by through calm waters, it looked like nothing much was happening on the surface but to maintain it's steady progress, well you knew that there had to be plenty going on beneath the surface, and with our new owners, and management you can be pretty certain thats what's happening with our club.

Slow and steady, but lot's going on that few people know about <ok>

    A Swan

"A large waterbird who moves in a calm and casual manner, a bird of great elegance and majesty."

They could quite easily be talking about the mighty swans don't you think, strutting their stuff around the venue of legends that is the liberty stadium with great elegance and majesty.

That really does sum the mighty swans up

This joke publication is known for sensationalist claptrap just to peddle their rubbish.....................I notice they don't mention the Bellamy Foundation, his dedication to his home town club, or "the fact" that he was cautioned for assaulting 20 year old student Charlotte Smith. was dismissed at a later date after CCTV footage was checked............and that she was cautioned for wasting police time, funny how a jack, or a joke paper wouldn't mention that <doh>

Think you need to chill out a bit Blue Prophet, it's obviously a joke website. I think pretty much everyone outside of Cardiff would find this funny. In the interests of fair play, they also take the pi55 out of Chris Coleman, maybe not as funny as the Bellamy write up, but still funny. http://backofthenet.wikia.com/wiki/Chris_Coleman

I can take a joke as well as anyone else

IF you think it's a joke, why not say so, instead of saying it's accurate?

    http://www.caughtoffside.com/2011/0...ks-team-mate-eyal-berkovic-in-the-head-video/

It's the same as when Hartson was having his courageous (and thankfully successful) battle against cancer, this rag instead of wishing Hartson well thought it was funny to make cracks about keeping a space for Berkovic's Get Well card on the mantlepiece, it's all very well chilling out, and objecting to cheap cracks in bad taste.

I'm sorry for using Sarcasm, i'll refrain from saying an obvious joke is accurate on this board again. I thought the good people of Cardiff where developed and intelligent enough to grasp this type of humour.

Don't contribute very much since the loss of 606, particularly as that troll DPJ is a moderator over there, but thought I'd dip to see how my chums at CCFC are doing and what do I find? Prophet's sad obsession with all things Swans is still alive and well, as it is a few others I see. Comings and goings at the Club you are supposed to care about and you're all dwelling on some glory moment that turned out to be irrelevant in the end.

Well done, you beat us with a cracking goal from a player that was receiving 2/3 of his wages from another club and who was clearly playing below his level all season. Where is he now though? And where are you? :/

Oh, and you know where we are, don't you Prophet? It's obviously killing you, boy. :)

You are getting me mixed up with someone who gives a **** boy.

I don't really care what swansea as a football club do TBH, it's some of their fans who come on here giving it large about things they know nothing about and slagging CCFC off at every opportunity that annoy me, they seem to think the swans are suddenly Barcelona, and have totally unrealistic expectations, they go on about how Cardiff are going to go bust, whilst turning a blind eye to swanseas troubles in the past, they try and convince us (or maybe themselves?) that Swansea are a MASSIVE club and Cardiff are the little poor relations down the road. They conveniently ignore the fact that both Cardiff and Swansea are middle sized clubs, but Cardiff are a slightly bigger club, with more potential, (for purely demographic reasons) I've no problem with the swans fans who realise that they are a small to medium sized club that have done well to get to the premiership without spending big, they are just going along for the ride, and looking forward to enjoying their time in the limelight, good luck to them. But as for the ones who shout about how Swansea are the BIGGEST and MOST SUCCESFUL club in Wales, well they are seriously deluded, you are currently in a higher division than us, well done, look back over the years and Cardiff have spent a long, long time higher up in the league than swansea, these "fans" have no sense of history or perspective, but they tend to shout the loudest, and when faced with facts and reasoned argument that threatens to burst their little bubble, they resort to insults and pathetic "your going bust" comments, and then when they get it back, they hide behind the "your jealous of the jacks" comments. Obviously Cardiff fans would prefer it was us in the premiership, but we would prefer it was us rather than QPR, Norwich, or any premiership club you care to name, they don't seem to get it.

    Swansea are NOT that important.

As for being "jealous" of Swansea, I can't think of a genuine Cardiff supporter who would want to swap places with Swansea, if they were jealous why haven't they bought Swansea season tickets instead of Cardiff ones? After all it's only just down the road, why do a lot of Cardiff supporters drive past Swansea to watch Cardiff, because they are PROPER fans, not like some of the muppet jacks who tend to infest our board, and spout their ill informed half baked rubbish, it's not the club that I particularly have a problem with.............but some of the window licking brain dead twats that come on here.

I don't understand your problem Prophet, I come on her for a bit of banter and you take it completely the wrong way. Back on 606 the number of times you boys went on with the peg and gypsy jokes, having a sense of humour I even joined in and on more than one occassion claimed to sell pegs myself. If you can't laugh at yourself you have no right to laugh at anyone else after all. Now, i've never sold pegs in my life (well, only when my dole was stopped and the tarmacking drive business dried up for a bit)* However most people were intelligent enough to see it was a joke, I didn't need to point out I was infact joking. You should probably take a big green leaf out of Abers book, have a big spliff and chill out a bit.

*For Blue Prophets benefit, this is not true. It is fact a joke for comic effect.
