It all adds up to playing the renowned 1-8-1 formation.......who needs balance?

word is he didn't failed it in the conventional sense, think it was a case of weighing up the results against a an expensive 1 year invest and the chances of injury. I this is the case I'd put my money on the scan results reveling layered scaring which would be from injury recurrence.

The Sunderland Chapter of the Hells Angels look interested in the background!

Please don't shoot the messenger, I have nothing against Sunderland or the footy team.

This is just for banter and warning contains the s**t swear word a couple of times.

Best of luck to any Sunderland supporters reading this for the new season:emoticon-0148-yes:

Apparently Fer's done damage to his crucial feelings, after being relegated twice in successive years

Still, pleased to have him back

Good song, but the language is unacceptable: The C-word is flippantly used in connection with the swamp and the bun that has been named after the stinking place. Who, by the way, would eat a scum bun?

Wow. 2 relegations a in 2 seasons, a couple of good goals, a lot of tackles dodged and apparently Fer is a world beater.

No world beater SB but a decent player when played in his best position

ssshhh Stan don't mention the 2 relegations.........I thought we had to talk him up so that someone comes in to buy/loan him?

I actually like him as a player with his languid style, but it's not really suited to the Championship, he would be a bit of a luxury. This could have some serious ramifications as the money I assume was to be used to buy in/loan some defenders and fund their wages from the savings in Fers' wages.....

I think there is a very good player in there somewhere, but we only get fleeting glimpses of it. In terms of what he has delivered, so far close to nothing. In an ideal world and with more consistency he is exactly the kind of player I like, but I am getting seriously confused about the shape of our potential midfield.

    Please Stan,

If you find where he has been hiding his being a good player, let me know!

Two good games for us does not make him The Messiah.

No, I won't be persuaded otherwise without seeing it with my own eyes. My anti feelings on Leroy are the same as Col's pro feelings were on Junior!

I would much prefer to see Samba Diatike in the side than Mr. Fer.

We do seem to have a rather over loaded midfield at present and are a tad thin at the back and up front........If Austin and Fer don't go shortly then there are no funds for replacements, but then if they stay until January then we could get off to a flyer, but that would cause a few selection problems of there own as I would expect Chery to be given the No 10 roll if that still exists and Polter to play the lone striker......

    Can't see the problem
    We need 5 midfielders
I feel that our fans are now in the stage of every goal we let in it will because we haven't got this player or that player
We simply have no idea what our team is shaping up like
Take stock I say we had little idea 5 weeks ago who would become a Rangers Or what our team would play like ... Nothing changed for me
CR's team end of brought in to coach young talent and re build QPR why?

Well we all know now what doesn't work

Win or lose it won't matter this season . Many are inviting pain onto themselves IMO
