    I think it is actually getting harder for us to get players to extend contracts....as we get better, the players get better and they prefer to keep their options open. I would love Victor to extend his contract, but doubt he will at the moment.

    The media are stirring it up about Fonte....have we seen anything that suggests he is other than happy here? Nothing to see, move along:bandit:

    Apparently it all started because he has changed his agent, so will want more money, so Saints won't give it, so he is bound to leave etc. That is the thought process.

    He leaves near (ish) to me. Couple of villages over. I have seen him in one of the local village pubs. He still lives here and travels up to Burnley, so I am sure he has earned a couple of days of with his kids during the summer holidays.
