Yep, he was in France liking the Sunderland links on Twitter <laugh>

Let's not give Kazan too much credit here, Football in that part of the world is corrupt and in complete mess, in between the racism and player extortion and corrupt betting rings there's the boarder conflicts with the Ukraine. Is it any wonder players a jumping ship and lacking effort left right and centre? Lens stated publicly that he feared for his familly's safety. Not defending Yann, but somebody who's already a temperamental 'bad boy' is guaranteed to go mental over there.

Then why go there in the first place? It's not a new thing that Russia is a corrupt **** hole.

The Kazan president saying he missed training was years ago by the way, nothing recent that I know of, why would he train with them? Kazan president called him a £9m flop who already thought he was a Liverpool player but he couldn't get on their bench... or something along those lines.

Mancini ripped him to shreds after a game as well. I was genuinely disappointed reading it, he was one of my favourite players a few years ago, I would have been devastated if Arsenal signed him.

Like you say, it's not a huge risk, it's a wage and an agents fee no doubt and if it goes sour I'd imagine there's a clause for you to pull the plug.

Yeah he went missing a couple of days ago, didn't have permission to leave club duties apparently. I know mate, All the bit's you've said there I've already addressed.

He trashed his rented house. Had a few arrests here and there(questioned about an underage prostitute and also an assault) but cleared of everything, few training ground bust ups. It's his fitness levels, workrate and commitment which is more of an issue for me.

Like I said, this will be last chance saloon for the lad. People will look and think that if an experienced disciplinarian like Dick can't sort him out then he's a write off.

Thats my way of looking at it Terry.
Win win for me.
If he just needed to get his head sorted and buckles down for us under Dick we have a very good player for low initial outlay.
If it all goes tits up with him, we haven't lost a lot.

Hopefully it will sort him out mate, I'd love to see him bossing this league.

If he does sort him out, you're on to a winner of a blueprint there mind, go sign all the rest of the wasted talent and turn their fortunes around.

Where you been hiding buster?

M'Vila by the way, if he gets back to his best, he used to pick a pearler of a ball over the top, Defoe would love that sort of ****.

When we got Ben Arfa I was delighted as he was massively talented. The truth is that we wouldn't have got him without the baggage and he had some storming games for us, some of the goals he got for us were worldies. I feel with some players who have gone off the rail though its like an addiction, you may straighten them out for a time and have them playing well but ultimately they will revert to type.

It may have just been that Pardew is a total ****wit of course.

Fer would be class for you guys, not convinced by M'Villa as he is now. Disruptive influences are what you seem to be shipping out not in.

That`s always a possibilty. <laugh>

M`Vila is impossible to call. It could go either way. He can get his act together and do well or not. The cost to us is very small. If he starts his antics DA can chase him without writing off huge sums.

So if Fers having a medical, is there any sign of Yann anywhere? or is it all paper talk currently?

Genuinely excited for YMV coming to the PL. I am, however, extremely gutted he is going to you. He was one of my favourite players not so long ago before disappearing off into deepest darkest Russia! If he can even be half the player I expect him to be, he will be an amazing player (your best in fact, although I am a definite fan boy)

your only a fanny's smidge from being a makem supporter mate

I don't like the way both transfers are dragging, feel like their agents drag their feet to see if they can get any more clubs biting
