Just trying to help you out old chap, as you obviously didn't read the part that said "full version" and I wanted to allay your fears re the forthcoming blog. No need to thank me.[/QUOTE] I read that. I'd prefer the conversation to his version of it. No fears on my part, just a preference for more accuracy. You know how some like to just run away with theories and then seem disinclined to correct it when the uncomfortable truth crops up. Perhaps next time, your little dig will get nearer the target.
****ed if I know. I'm on someone else's machine so maybe it's the settings. Still, I would hope the point got over all the same.
Aye, editorial license, same difference really; key point being the RH interview. We have known Allam say one thing and do another before, so it will be interesting to see it develop.
I realise you don't get to games now but why you'd think I have owt to do with anyone silent is funny as ****. The name change has gone. No big deal. We move on and try to do the best we can for our club. You should try doing that. It would make a nice change from you just acting like a **** on a forum.
What little dig? Merely being helpful old sausage; I assumed you had missed those two key words and that's why your post made such little sense. You can carry on now.
The post makes perfect sense. The conversation is more important than just his version. Jeez, sometimes it's like helping out in a nursery on here. By the way, you could try actually joining in with debates, rather than just limiting yourself to pithy, piss poor digs.
What exactly do you mean by "his version"? Do you think he is going to misquote Mr Allam? If not, what's the problem exactly?
I rather hope he prints the full conversation. Surely, if it's a more complete picture we're after, that's superior to just his version of it? Sure, his opinion could mean something, but only with all the facts rather than just his selected sound bites.
He's not going to print a full transcript of the conversation, and if that's what you believe he has to do, you've just rendered the entire history of journalism pretty much pointless following that logic.
I dont care what AA says as he is irrelevant. Just looking foward to saturday. More intrested in who we are signing and how many turn up at the KC. Hoping we get 18,000 +
You telling someone to stop acting like a **** on a forum is possibly the biggest example of a lack of irony I have ever encountered. My apologies for not attending games due to ill health (though I would probably have stopped going anyway due to our chairman). Sometimes I wish I was well enough to go even if it would mean sat amongst so-called supporters who don't care about the name of their club or its history.
His version? Can we expect Allam to inform us he was misquoted and the journalist's article was inaccurate and he demands a retraction?
What a load of bollocks and pointless argument. You favour a 'version' over actuality. I wonder how many still will if that version doesn't match their current beliefs.
