    Our pre-season schedule is brilliant strategy. We’ll have a big head start on our rivals in dealing with mid-season burnout.

    Plus we get to face Bale when he’ll be desperate both to show us up and prove he’s better than Ronaldo while we can’t be trying very hard if we know what’s good for us. He’ll get a hat trick at least.
