It's possible that they played together for the national team, as there's a slight overlap there. Wouldn't have been many games, though. Both players were given their international debut by Pochettino's hero, Marcelo Bielsa. We were linked with Cambiasso last summer, but I've no idea if there was any truth in it. Might be worth a shout, even if we bring in someone else who's an effective holding midfielder. We definitely lack experience throughout the squad now.
Pochettino was a regular between 1999-2002 at the same time Cambiasso was making his debut for Argentina, so the chances are they were in a few squads together, though Cambiasso missed out on the 2002 World Cup squad. Even if they were in squads together there's no guarantee this would work to our advantage, they could have hated each other!
Real could really use Walker, he'd fit in perfectly above Carvajol and Danilo. Walker deserves the move, come on Real, do the lad (us) a favour .
"they say goldfish got no memory i guess their lives are much like mine. The little plastic castle is a surprise" Silly season writers, similarly, will be shocked when Levy refuses to sell a player we want to a PL rival.
Chelsea have told Tottenham to name their price for left-back Danny Rose, with the Blues prepared to pay £15m for the 25-year-old Response: £16m Bye
Name your price! As long as it's £15m or less. We'll pay anything! Within reason. Don't go overboard. £15m is a bit of a joke offer, in my opinion, especially given the timing. Media bullshit. Chelsea don't seem to be after a first choice left-back, so their alternative target seems much more likely.
"Name your price, as long as the price is £15m or less." That's not naming a price, that's somebody dictating terms. Still, if the Chavs are intent on nabbing one of our players, Adebayor is available for that price.
Last summer I'd have given Rose a piggy back to Chelsea for £15m. This summer they can well and truly **** off.
It's 99.9% certain to be the usual Red top bollocks. Anyway, Rose strikes me as the type who always wants to play, not sit on The Chav's bench all season!
Very true, he bitched quite a bit to the media when he was behind Benny in the pecking order, now he's in the limelight himself, I'd be very surprised if wanted to play second fiddle to Azpilicueta, albeit he'd get a lovely pay hike for doing sod all most weeks!
And so it continues http://www.adifferentleague.co.uk/2...ited-make-approach-for-tottenhams-harry-kane/ Makes sense, we can just use one of our several other forwards.
The kane story is a huge steaming pile of ****e...hoping to unsettle a player who has said "I will not be leaving spurs this summer"... who do they think he is ... delph? Typical story when there is sod all to report on...its so boring that sky have invented sky 92 day...where they send reporters to all 92 clubs in a day
