Even at the height of AW & SAF's rivalry you never had the nastiness you get from that odious **** Mourinho

True, but that was two managers at the top of their game psyching each other out (there was always respect there), Mourinho is just a man who craves praise and acts like a child when he is beaten.

Great result. We've won our first trophy of the season and beaten Maureen. Hopefully this will give our team a boost for the coming EPL season.

Also agree with Cym that Maureen is pulling out with a publicity stunt with shaking hands with all the players. He's already been quoted as saying the better team lost and we had 10 players behind the ball, damn the hypocrisy. But one thing is for certain, he knows we are a threat and he is trying to out psych Wenger and gain an upper hand. This confirms that we are back. The coming prem season will be exciting, that is for sure.

I love the fact that Wenger is just responding to any questions about Maureen's hissy fits with 'whatever' and 'we don't listen to others'. Next time he should say 'who?' <ok>

The whole handshake with the players was done to emphasise the fact that Jose wasn't going to shake AW hand as he had the opportunity to do so but walked down the tunnel- and then Jose threw loser medal in to the crowd.
both acts captured by TV which was the aim as both were publicity stunts done to get press talking about stunts and not Chelsea's poor game plan.
jose is such a sore loser and well done AW for ignoring him and his childlike games.

This team is very impressive at the moment, all over our squad, some really quality players have emerged or been brought in the last few years. Coquelin was impressive again yesterday, and Kos was bossing at the back. Still feel we are a top CF away from really being a top side, but we shall see.

It's also quite a big deal that we managed to get this win without our main man Sanchez.

I have to say we have looked surprisingly sharp this Pre-Season. Lets hope we make a strong start to the Season.

Pleased that you won the Charity Shield!! Watching MoD last night and some of the moves in the first half with Ozil at the fulcrum of the play were sublime. Hope you keep up the form from the second half of last season and get the title this season.

Agreed on Sanchez, for us not to have our best player of last season says a lot about the quality we have. Its good to see OXO have a good game against a top defensive side and Coqs resume his form of last season. I'm sure Maureen seeing Cech in Arsenal colours added to his woes. Nice.

We've missed the rivalries to be honest. The days of Wenger and Fergie were fantastic.

I think Petr Cech could turn out to be the bargain of the summer <ok>

I love the fact that, before the game, Mourinho was all "no drama if Arsenal win" and tried to keep it cool, yet he had the biggest hissy fit during and after the game, along with his futile attempts to rile Wenger up. He only ended up winding himself up again! <laugh>

Maureen is the HIAG of the manager world ... Tries to wind up the opposition and it comes back immediately and slaps him round the face like a wet Kipper

I honestly think Koscielny is the most important player in our squad and the one we would miss most if he gets injured

I meant our best player but I do know what you're saying. I think we have a number of key first time players in our team now and Kos is one of them. I would also add Coqs ,Cech (even though he's new) and Giroud to that list. If we lost any of those players then we would take a significant hit. These would be the first 5 names on the list for me.
