    We should be going into every game clear headed with a determination to win. Seeking revenge for the players would only be a distraction. Stick to gameplay. Win by out playing them.

    Ok I know I said I'm not that excited about the new season given our summer ... but I can't help it now. Natural excitement has started to kick in!

    Agree with Jimmy, Lalalalalalalana will start ahead of Ibe..
    To be fair to the lad, he's had a decent Pre-season..
    Would like to Sakho ahead of Lovern, but I can see Lovern starting..
    Gomez, could he be our Azpilicueta? A RB playing very well at LB? No in his league yet but the boy looks good, he's big, powerful and good on the ball too!

    Gomez looks good but there is no way he should be starting over Moreno at left back.

    Would be a waste as well. Wouldn't wanna ruin another talent by playing him as a full back, just like we did with Wisdom and Kelly.

    Why not? Yes, he's a CB by trade that maybe asked to play out of position to begin with, but Stones started at RB for Everton, solid performances, the odd suspension, he's now in at CB.. could also be the way Gomez gets to his preferred position..
    Also, both given a fair crack at playing in Pre-season and by all accounts, he's come out on top, against lesser opposition but he's bested Moreno (who I really like and want to see succeed), but it does appear that for now, Gomez is ahead of him in the pecking order.
    Can't carry passengers this year (any year really) you've gotta be in the side on merit not name, there's plenty of competition for places now, so step up or step out!
