    If anyone wants it, I found a terrible stream narrated by a Spanish gentleman who is seemingly housed in the deep end of a swimming pool, judging by the audio quality.

    We played well, Espanyol scored from their only shot. Jay looked good, although to me a bit stiff, less agile then before the injury. Long got the **** kicked out of him. Wanyama looking lean and mean. Caulker far from impressive, but he's been in with the lads only for a couple of days, so I'll be lenient.

    Espanyol players made a huge number of cynical fouls; if this wasn't a friendly, they would have 5 or 6 yellow cards at this point.
