Why? Spurs will be challenging for top 4 and 'Pool will be challenging for top 6. You think that Stoke will be competing with Spurs for top 4. No, they won't. They won't even be competing for top 6 with 'Pool. Having said that, I do see Stoke finishing in the top half.
To be fair mate, there's a lot of people who think Stoke will beat Spurs to 6th place this season. They have made some very good signings, so far..
No, there aren't. There are a handful of wums who say that in order to get some attention. That's all.
Who have Spurs signed? I honestly can't recall any mention of a player who will improve the squad/first team.
They have invested heavily this summer. The pressure will really be on them. Tottenham will punch above their weight. Top 8 beckons. Leicester will flirt with relegation and go down. Liverpool will threaten top 4, but there will be a big gap between 4th and 5th.
**** me can you even read you deluded prick, I don't see any of you challenging for the top 4 but I do predict Stoke to punch above thier weight like Southampton last year and be on a similar level to Spurs and Liverpool.
They punched well above their weight last season by getting 5th. But relied almost entirely on Kane to win thier games. He will be a marked man this season and unless he has as good a campaign again then I think they could struggle to get the goals they need. I think they should be aiming for top 6 but there's no guarantee they'll get it if Stoke, Swansea or Southampton have a decent season.
I think that's a very fair assessment. If Kane has a long time out injured, then they can forget about fighting for 6th.
I'll put myself out there to be knocked down ... lots of gloom and doom merchants predicting our demise post Pearson and Cambiasso... predict now that we will finish no lower than 14th ...
I think a bad start is the best thing that can happen to Leicester as it will hasten the departure of the affable but clueless Ranieri.
