Who is your man this season. Cabaye can hit them, as can Ben arfa and Barton. Think I'd be most comfortable with Ben arfa stepping up myself.
    What you lot reckon?

I'd love to see Joey take a few and Ben Arfa, obviously depending on where it's from and how they're playing.

    And if he's on, Guthrie.

Raylor can hit them aswell like but can't see him getting much playing time if in fact he is even at the club at all next season.

Ben Arfa the new Laurent Robert! Marvauex can hit them aswell, along with Ryan Taylor of course.

Mix it up, keep the opposition goalkeeper guessing.

Have Barton flick it up and Colo head it in.

If Tiote is lurking about 25 yards outside the box for any clearances to come his way then it's irrelevant who takes the free kick - the balls only going one place, the back of the net.

If its not in a good position to shoot let Barton cross them otherwise Ill go with Ben Arfa and from what I hear Cabaye is a bit of a penalty specialist

Please anyone but Barton, I don't think he managed to even hit the target last season!

    Cabaye or Arfa hopefully.

If its a scoring opportunity then Cabaye or Ben Arfa, Bartons not very good at getting freekicks on target he seems to be better and picking somebody out

Barton if its from miles away and we want it floated into the box, Cabaye if its on the left and therefore requires a right footer and Ben Arfa if its on the right and requires a left footer. Barton/Cabaye on pens.

Would agree with this, although Marveaux isnt too shabby at freekicks either. Ryan Taylor is hardly gonna get a game, so no need to consider him i guess.

As for penalties, if Shola plays then he's obviously going to take them. Other than that Barton or Cabaye are the two obvious candidates. Whats Demba Ba like at penalties, has he ever took them for a club?

Do you guys actually rate RTaylor on free kicks? I remember a game at the backend of last season where he had so many, and just kept hitting the wall.
