The draw is on the 7th, day after our 2nd leg. Full credit for the hard work Qwerty but according to UEFA there are only 15 clubs from the CL in the play-offs and 29 from the EL qualifiers. Does this shift the balance in our favour maybe?
Good spot, thanks, and yes it does a bit. Taking out the CL certainties and Sampdoria, we need 6 of the "pretty likely/reasonable chances" to go our way. I've edited the original...for the last time as I'm going to bed.
Occurred to me the other day and I meant to mention it to the football nerds, but now it has come back to me: I noticed Saints were using a Nike Barclays Premier League 2015-16 ball for their Europa qualifier. Don't tell me it was because it was just a qualifier. I can't imagine Adidas missing an opportunity to get their logo on TV, especially when Nike got their arrow there instead. Incidentally, I think they are bonded panels instead of stitched. Makes a difference.
