You lost 50% of ctwd. That takes some doing. Just what is/was it that stopped them joining. You really need to address this.
HCST membership is less than 40% down on that of CTWD, but that's exactly as we'd expect, people are far more willing to fund a specific campaign against something they they disagree with, than fund an ongoing fan group. We need to prove our worth and that's exactly what we intend to do.
how many have joined the OSC? its been going for years, you get benefits too like meeting the players and discounts. just for some context, as generally people don't join anything.
'Covered'? The news about the North Stand being closed for rugby was one paragraph tagged onto the bottom of a meaningless story on an inside page. If it had been news of the same stand being shut for football it would have been all over the front page, that is my point. A biting incident in a professional football game would have been on the BBC national news, I have must have missed it in the HDM. A pitch invasion at a football game involving Hull City would have brought shock horror headlines in the local press and a campaign to name and shame. I never saw it mentioned in the HDM. I suppose the lack of coverage ( interest) just underlines how small time RL really is. But well done Rovers today.
The gentlemanly game played with respect for each other and the ref.... The thugs playing spend the game trying to maim each other without getting caught. The only reason the ****s don't argue with the ref is the fine and ban they'd get. Nothing to do with respect. The fans aren't hoolies like at football and can enjoy a drink without fighting... We all know this is bollocks. Fact is it's such a minority sport plus beloved of the upper middle class, it's just kept out of the media. Football as the actual working mans sport despite the costs is better to sneer at.
Complete bullshit, its a minor story and of no interest to most, same if it was for the football. Do they mention it when Hull City close the Upper West for cup games? Do they bollocks. National: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/rugby-league/33722785 HDM: http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...-biting-KR-s/story-27515876-detail/story.html http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...rowd-trouble/story-27448432-detail/story.html There was no name and shame campaign because it was a bunch of fans celebrating a victory, same as when we invaded the pitch against Cardiff and Watford, guess what, no name and shame then either. The fact that you 'never saw' or 'must have missed' these incidents getting publicised means your either an idiot (which is likely) or you haven't even looked and are just chatting utter bollocks for the sake of it.
