    I'd find it mad if do Maria went, but the papers are quite insistent. I expect him to be much better next season, whoever he plays for

    Legit Q, once Di Maria leaves you guys and goes down as one of the biggest flops for his price tag, will United fans still go on about Di Maria being fantastic, or will the tune change now that yeah he sucked, lol.

    Lol and to think some United fans actually thought they got the better signing between Sanchez and Di Maria, lol.

    TBH I still think Di Maria is awesome. Just I think people need to start asking questions about Van Gaal and why he plays one of the top 10 wingers in the world in central midfield, why he plays his best striker (Rooney) in central midfield, a winger (Valencia) at right back, buys 3 left backs (Shaw, Rojo and Blind), then despite all the attacking options of Mata, Januzaj, Rooney, Di Maria, RVP he plays a Central Midfielder upfront and hoofs the ball up to him!

    What a way to blow £150m!

    Can't argue with that <ok> He hasnt blown the money though bcos as you say they are all bloody good players but he does waste them.

    To be fair to Di Maria his work ethic is exceptional. He's no prima donna. He mucks in, goes hunting for the ball when he's not getting the service, he tracks back, he presses high up the pitch. But he sometimes cuts a dejected figure bcos he's played poorly by the manager. Even a little thing like playing him on RW instead of LW makes a massive difference.

    Questions must be asked indeed, especially if Falcao manages to find form at Chelski, you look at that attacking line up United had, Falcao, Di Maria, Mata, Rooney etc, on paper it's up there with their previous ones like Rooney, Ronaldo, Berbatov, Tevez etc.
