but decent quality tbf .. get these .. plus raid Brentford for those two for 8mill roughly ,.. and we are in very good shape gotta remember .. the championship is make or break dependant on loan signing as the rules allow it .. look at the recent past .. and tell me otherwise
We are only in good shape if we don't lose anymore of the centre backs and at the minute Id say Huddlestone.
If it means we're less financially tied to Allam then so be it. Sounds like we're spending big on the Brentford lads anyway.
I hope the kid produces a better goals to game ratio for us then he has for his previous loan clubs! Up to now his first team record reads - played 21 scored 0
i know in our 2nd season in the prem (under PB) i wanted us to try Raheem Sterling - i think then he was a 16yr old baby , impressing on youtube at empty stadiums
Same age (I believe) as Altidore was when he joined. Turns 20 in October so has all before him. Big chance for him with us but, once again, jury will be out for some time on this lad.
I think the level of financial reliance on the Allam family became irrelevant a long time ago, he's created his own monster and it is he who must tame it - destroying it is not an option.
Same age as Campbell was when he came to us on loan in 07 if I did that in my head correctly. Let's hope we have a repeat of that seasons goal tally from him.
Well if the Allams take out say £30m this year and pay down half the outstanding transfer fees it means he could sell for £30 or £40m and either break even or even show a small profit, and have the remaining transfer debt guaranteed through the Year 2 parachute, as he toddles off up the road. And we have a month of the transfer window left to ship out Jelavic, Hernandez & N'Doye
There isn't £30m available to take out, the parachute money is all required to cover the wage bill and the transfer money we're getting is required to cover outstanding transfer fees. They'll be doing well to get £10m back out this season.
I posted on here a few months back that they should get Gnabry on loan, very impressed with him and he's down the pecking order, Akpom will do though if this is right
the previous relegation we struggled to shift some poor players, at least this time the Man U academy has proven profitable with Chester & Brady fetching £15m between them.
