I don't consider him a mid table manager at all, unless he has a budget 4 times that of those around him.

Indeed and if ever he or Pullis came to be our manager, there would be a season ticket available!!!!! <laugh>

But he would have kept us up in the Premiership money and we could go out and buy the players Southampton are buying! Instead we had Hughton and Adams which stuck us in Championship struggles.

Can't see how anyone can deny Pulis isn't a good manager, if he ever came here I wouldn't be against it. The job he did for Palace was incredible and not forgetting keeping Stoke City up season after season. He won't ever manage a big club, but he knows how to keep your team up.

I thought I'd already explained why he managed to keep Stoke up.

Basic football is the easiest thing to do even more so with his budget. I read they were the 3rd ish highest spenders if you took away sales in the prem over the majority of his tenure.

He's probably worse than Allardyce and only just behind McCarthy in terms of football style.

He may not always make joyous (?) or positive reading, but carrabuh normally has his finger on or pretty close to the pulse. I don't always agree with him, but 'nonsense' it isn't <ok>

Mario Baloteli is valued at £7.7m & Jordan Rhodes £7m .
If for arguments sake the wages were the same which would be the better signing ?
