Serious question. Apart from Hoilett, who are the rest?

Chery we've just signed from Holland.
Jay Emanuel-Thomas, from Bristol City. Used to be at Ipswich and Arsenal.
Luongo we've just got from Swindon.

All pretty good apart from Hoilett, who is as useful on a football pitch as Bobbi Brown.

Libby and HRH Custard VC like this.

  7. There's a full and frank interview with Van Gaal, on the BBC Football website. Here's a snippet of it:-

[Speaking about what it takes to be a winning side] He added: "I can give examples of champions: Bayern Munich, Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben; Chelsea, Eden Hazard and Willian; Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale; Barca, Neymar and Lionel Messi. At United, we have Fellani and Rooney. We're ****ed!"

Luongo was one of ours. A decent player according to reports.

I don't agree with most of you.

Manures are not shoe-in for Top 4. Remember they have Europe to negotiate.
Very good chance they might be in 5 to 7 positions.
They may still go out and try to buy everything out there to avoid that dire situation.

Consider Goons & City as our threat in that order.
Writing is on the wall that this is Manny's last season. So don't expect City to be serious contenders.
Goons will pull of their 'Kobe trademark fade away'. So that is usual then.

    Title is ours to lose.

  14. Yes, they do look like they're in a right old mess, at the moment.

Can't see Liverpool or Spurs improving enough to overtake them.

Agree to some extent. Pool / Spuds EL will screw their second half.
But I am expecting (hoping) some dark horse to emerge like yester years toon, toffees, saints etc.

  17. We'll be defensively stronger, so shouldn't leak as many goals this season. That, alone, will make us more competitive.

If we can get another decent striker, to support Kane, we'll score more, and that should put us on an equal footing with United.

In theory, maybe. But this is Spurs, nailed on to find a way to **** it up no matter how bad United are.

Wilson - I just made a logical point. You will drop more points than last season due to mid week commitments.

Glad you are confident. We shall see in few months.

But like I said, you can always buy whoever or whatever you want!! So that explains your confidence.
