Not sure l follow the logic. Cousins signs a 4 year deal, Sarr signs 5 year deal. why could we not have Cousins sign on a similar 5 year deal?
Probably paying Jordan Cousins a hell of a lot more than Sarr, given that he's probably 100 times better.
Very good news, but I wonder what the exit value is ? As we found out with Joe, to get people to sign these contracts you have to make compromises. I gather Nobby Sarr's at Lisbon was something like €45m where did we get that from?
We have a lot of new signings. None of us know how good they are, or what the morale is like within the club. One aspect of JBG and Cousins both re-signing, when they could get good contracts elsewhere, is that they have insiders' views of what is going on. If things felt rotten, they would not have re-signed. I'm encouraged.
