Against cannon fodder it will be fine, but he will be asking for trouble with hendo and milner the only CM's. Side note, I like Can but I don't think he is the answer as the deepest midfield player everything I have seen he loves bombing on.
I'd say that honestly he's done it when the opportunity arises. What I've seen for leverkusen and basically playing for us is he organises holds a good position and can control. I think he can do it. Lallana on the other hand I don't like as he's just not right for me.. just don't like him. There's something missing there in terms of making the difference

That midfield would get killed. Offers zero defensive protection for the defence and technically incapable of keeping possession and dictating the tempo.
I think it will be Lovren and Skrtel. And a 2 man midfield of Milner and Henderson. If this is the case, we'll probs end up conceding 60 goals.
the only teams to concede 60+ goals in the prem ended up on 39 points (Newcastle and below) stop grossly exaggerating jimmy.
Think about it - we've conceded around 45-50 goals last in past 3 seasons. IF we start with Lovren and Skrtel, combined with 2 attacking full backs in Clyne and Moreno with NO DM to protect them, then 60 goals isn't all that unrealistic.
so? WE STARTED WITH THOSE TWO LAST YEAR... we also threw in 9 goals in last two games carrying 3 passengers in the side. (sterling gerrard, johnson) you need some lithium and some uppers. next you'll be hoping we get relegated.
We started with those 2 until Rodgers went to a back 3 and we stopped conceding for a short period. Had we kept those 2 for longer, we would have conceded more than 50 easily. Like I said, IF we start Skrtel and Lovren and have a midfield two of Milner and Hendo, then conceding 50+ can very well happen.
Last time I checked, I said 60 goals. Not 60+, that was actually you. And last time I checked, 60 goals is also the same as 50+. And finally, if you think that there is little difference between 50 and 60, then god help us. We concede goals for fun - it's embarrassing. Stop digging your hole now MITO mate, changing arguments to try and look big and clever.
