    Good Morning Everyone,

Leeds Utd are close to signing Will Buckley from Sunderland.

The left winger signed for the Mackems last Summer for a fee of 2.5m from Brighton.

He is likely to cost in the region of 1.5m, but will Leeds be able to fend off interest from a host of Championship clubs?

Currently in the betting stakes, Leeds and Wolves are both 2/1 to sign him.

Would the signing of Buckley be a major coup for Leeds?

How does Buckley compare against Jamie Murphy?

    Who would you rather have?

The only stumbling block will surely be wages, as he is on £30,000 a month, but surely that would be the same for all Championship clubs?

So, theoretically, if Leeds were to sign Buckley, and things stayed as they were, how would you rate the Summer transfer activity 1-10?

How much have Leeds moved forward in the last twelve months?

With the Pearson / Cellino partnership, is your opinion changing of our Italian owner?

Morning all... I read that they want to sell for £1.5m and we are refusing and instead offering to loan for a year with an option to buy.

Do we have that much in the coffers, would we need to free the wage bill up a little first?

I haven't a clue who is better, Murphy or Buckley but I bet either is probably better than our current left wing options.

Our transfer activity has been positive compared to recent summers. However the players we have brought in are young with a bright future, but that's not to say that they will all blossom this season. We haven't brought in the experienced class midfielder we need so are having to rely on our kids and hope a years more experience sees them develop faster into quality players week in week out. So I'm going to say 6 out 10 at best and worry about the fact other clubs are buying more quality than us (Although our young prospects may turn out to be fantastic)

I think Cellino has done his homework this time and got rid of dead wood and we now have a great set up behind the scenes in Pearson and Co, and Rosler & his team seem well set up, but any success we have on the pitch is now down to Rosler and not the players as we all agree that these players will come good. I hope Rosler is a good coach and can motivate and enthuse this squad and we move away from divisions in the dressing room and have a unified squad all working for each other. I'm worried about Rosler than anything else because I'm not sure he's it.

I heard that Cellino funded Wood. No reason why he wouldn't fund Buckley

Good morning Matt and co from a sunny Bardsey
IF it came to a choice between Jamie Murphy and Will Buckley both are for sale at 1.5m I would opt every time for Buckley primarily because he's proven at this level and is good on either foot though he seems to prefer playing on the right very fast just what we need could it be that Sunderland would want Byram to be part of the deal it's possible
I think we have done much better with our transfers in than for many a season
Cellino I have never waivered on him he will come good and shut the doom and gloomers up!

If I was to rate our summer activity compared to other clubs, it'd definitely fall short to the likes of Derby and Burnley etc.

If I was to rate it compared to our previous however many seasons it'd be the best we've had for a long time (assuming we get Buckley and everything else remains the same). Firstly the manager we have appointed is much better than Hockaday (that's not saying much though is it). We would have made two big signings which shows intent coupled with some other signings of younger players with promise, but the biggest thing would be for the first time in a long time we haven't sold one of our best players and had to start over again. Thats the big thing for me, so fingers crossed till the deadline.

West Ham have got trouble brewing because the decided that Big Sam was no longer the man and brought in their former player who's so far managed to preside over a nightmare. I think we could be looking at the first managerial casualty especially as he is no longer a fans favourite, and has heard booing already.

Where will Big Sam finish up, and I expect it to be before Xmas

Yes he has been given number 20 as his squad number, when other players haven't been given a number. Fooking gutted because it looks like he's staying

    Morning all

How do I feel about the signings this summer?

More positive than last summer but I repeat again. There still isn't enough player and i pray we don't have an 'injury crisis' because we will be screwed.

We still need a CB, LB, RM and LM and if we sell Wootton we'll need to sign a RB as well.
