I've never thought he was particularly good but then he's played for Barcelona for ten years so I clearly know **** all.
Would be pretty amazed if Young would go to Villa without either smashing their wage structure apart or taking a big pay cut. Also he'd probably be courted by better teams. Januzaj on loan there would make more sense.
Young was their highest paid player before he left. Also, he's 30 and his contract is coming to an end and we havent offered him a new one yet. Not that I want him to leave. The guy has gone up a lot in my estimation in the last 12 months.
He's no world beater but he's more than decent. He doesn't moan about being played out of position and he's a grafter. Good squad player who we should hold onto.
There is no way after last season and being on the brink of a possible United renaissance Young would decide to go back to Villa. Not a single shred of possibility.
