Just been taking a look at our neighbour's board on here, it's very quiet on there, have they really given up on not606? I know it's not a hell of a lot to talk about on the off season, but there's still talk of who could be coming in, who could be leaving, pre season games and so on. Be a shame if it dies out over there
Think with the appointment of Slade, it's been the final straw, oldsparkey has thrown in the towel............
They have finally realized they are going backwards and not tipped for promotion this season like they have in the past....Plastic fans in a nut shell......
The reason the Cardiff forum is slowly dying is because we are literally leagues ahead of them. Most of their contributors seemed more obsessed with Swansea than anything concerning their own club, The illiterate peg seller, swamp, dai jones, ITIWRAN being perfect examples. The best one was the illiterate peg seller, who was so obsessed with Swansea that he created a fantasy world where he was a student at Swansea University. His stories were quite amusing though, especially the one when he claimed he had been drinking in the "Pilot Inn." Even though it had been closed for months.
Ah good old Johnny Hughs, he was great entertainment. He did manage in one post to say he got from Cardiff to the Mumbles in 45mins after Cardiff had finished playing at Legoland!!!
I must admit he was amusing (JH) even when shown pictorial evidence the Pilot had been /was at the time shut for months he came out with" it was open for one night only" .Although this board isn't exactly post after post lately
It was inevitable given the clubs finances and the desperation in bringing TinTan on board, that was the final nail in the coffin.............
He formed the pilots football team and is the manager.....He is still waiting for players to join the last i heard....
He was last spotted leaving Swansea Uni on his pinkish/red ( I kid you not) 90 cc Vespa scooter , if you care to trawl back over his posts he did say he owned one , even the dimwits on the carduff board had enough of him although I thought he fitted in well .
