Remy's perfect for you at the moment - seems fairly happy to sit on the bench when Costa's fit, then comes on and gets goals when he gets the oppounity. I'd be keeping him if I were you.

Atletico played very different when Torres was there compared to how they do now. Torres was ****ed before he even signed for us, Liverpool played that one perfectly in getting rid at that point. Now Falcao may be the same, but even still, he is a loan, and not a £50m signing. Costa was removed early from the last game as a precautionary measure, he felt tightness in one of his hamstrings, and given his previous, Jose pulled him out just in case, but it wasn't anything serious apparantly. Still not very comforting though, that he is still getting twinges, doesnt bode well.
i meant torres for you..... he didn't fit at all.... legs ****ed.. falcao's legs are gone. in therms of what you now need you've made your bed and you could find falcao playing in cl while costa nurses himself and could be out as as a result.
I've seen you post before about wanting to see a clear organisational structure. What format, or what would that look like?
simple enough.... CEO should have financial officer, commercial/marketing director, sporting director etc... then reporting to the sporting director there should be a first team structure and an academy structure right down the chain. example.. who does barry hunter report to... who does mike gordon report to... is he above are or alongside? as a part owner that's difficult.... who does all the performance analytic staff report to, what about medial staff... etc etc.. who does scouts report to.. who makes the call for signings? and the list goes on

Teams should have a Director of Football who organises the committee, who are responsible for signing players for the first team. Rodgers should just be a First Team Coach - work with the players you have, stop complaining, and develop them. Rodgers i.e. the manager should only be a small cog in the machine.

no our club isnt run that way.... its hard to tell who the head scout etc report to. they don't i think report to rodgers In the end... you can expand that tehcnical director role and have senior side and academy side as well. My view is when rafa is done with Real in 2 or 3 years we should beg him to be tehcnical director here.

I think he would be very good in such a role - his vision is for the club as a whole, not just the first team. However, my concern would be is that he would want too much control and would interfere with first team coaching etc etc potentially leading to conflicts with the First Team Coach.
the whole point of a technical director is to take control. he's been around too long to not realize that if he were to do it his coaching days are behind him and he'd dive in to the minutae of the role and be a brilliant one. simply put look at the best clubs you've big power names who do the role and coaches get along quite well. It has been in my time OWNERS who've done the interfering in club affairs most around europe... england being england I can think of two bad examples of executives (levy and purslow) who think they know it all. Look at bayern and the power names running the club technically.
We shouldn't assume that bringing in a manager means we have to wait 4 years to see success. We have a decent squad already - a better manager will get more out of current resources.
