I was a massively Anti-Apple and refused to ever buy a MacBook but I have to say it's one of the best laptops I've bought.

    Great design, great performance.

All apple devices are high performance but need to be as they are huge price.

a macbook is what 1000, 1500? IMO it has to be top class at that.

Apple don't delight customers. they hook customers

18% of the market... the very top end and any graphical designer will go apple.

Right now if you are a music fan and you go apple you are trapped but a lot are VERY unhappy now as the thing is all screwed up.

Apple are apple..... they seem to not be thinking of the customer any more.. I mean who the hell designed the iwatch? who does that appeal to? tiny % of apple customers.... not me i can tell you.

I've dropped apple as i really don't care about music. the displays on Samsung are much much better. the new hone is much more powerful... I doubt i'll go back to apple.

they really disappointed me when they messed up all my photos and just made it such a bad apple to pc experience. I link my phone to calender, i want my email which is not icloud address... can't hvae any of it.

Yup Apple products overpriced and is such a fashion product nowadays. The thing that frustrates me the most if the lack of compatibility with windows and custom designed software.

I'd rather buy a top of the range pc which is more powerful than a MAC and is more useful to me as a gamer.

Last thing is if you're MAC breaks, you're pretty much screwed and have to buy a new one. This apple ecosystem which people think is an advantage actually has you trapped using Apple products.

Also (obviously cause i'm not used to do it) i cannot use OSX!!

I don't know if overpirced is the right word but their profit margins suggest they are. AND it is 75% fashion.

The equivilant priced android device is at least as good in tablet and phone arena. the watch is ugly compared to similar high end watches. and a top end laptop in wondows dress v top end macbook is close... I would have to say the macs is where my graphic colleagues are at and always have been but I personally am not in that end technically.

Apple itunes is seemless. it is good... its way better than android equivalent in terms of automation... but.... it systematically targets and limits you to apple.

They are very very good but..... no longe rfor me i think. If my work is PC I am PC end of.

I was thinking ipad but now seeing the quality of samsung display i am waiting to see best tablet out thee this autumn when new ones come.

My only Apple product is my iPod Touch, which I really like. However, I absolutely hate iTunes to the bottom of my soul. Never tried the Android equivalent to be fair.

Ipod made sense... then thet phones expanded into it and itunes is very restrictive.

all mine bascially use realplayer to rip mp3 out of youtube videos and listento music on phones that way... they don't care... apple know so thats why streaming is their big play now. they want the tenner a month

ipod touch is often a kids first way into tech. they ge tthat as parents don't allow phone but its internet ready and all the apps go on...

its like an entry level drug <laugh>

I just want the music and the apps, and also the camera (although the camera wasn't all that when it came out and it's obviously even more obsolete now). Don't use my mobile hardly at all so the subscription costs just aren't worth it for an iPhone. If I were to get a smartphone, it probably wouldn't be an iPhone, though that would mean putting all my music onto the other system, which would be a bugger. <laugh>

there is some system to get it now.... but you are one of the new old schoolers now... you downloaded all your music probably legally and now are trapped.

the new new school all stream.... ergo its only transferring a list.. its not even aplay list any mroe i'm told and albums are lost..

The iPhone is utter ****e, compared to the Samsung Galaxy S, infact it is **** compared to most Android phones.

I used to have an iPhone, and it did my ****ing head in, all that synchronising bullshit, and only being able to watch videos and **** that you have downloaded from iTunes.
I got my samsung, copied and pasted all my music on to my phone on my PC, and any movie I want, and bang its there.

Most of my music is from CDs anyway. But yes, for the stuff I've downloaded, I'd probably have to burn it onto CD and then recopy it onto the harddrive.

Spotify is the way forward in terms of music.
    Great program is that.

I pay £10 a month and get all the music I want legally, in great quality.
