I'd rather he play than Revell in most cases.
I think away from home against better sides when we'd be content not to get beat then Revell has a purpose.

Why would we loan him? If they're covering all his wages (unlikley) then we might as well shred the contract and let him leave.

I don't believe Russ* is desperate to get rid of KWJ. Certainly he's not in the same league of outcast as ALF and Guerra.

*this is the natural progression of Whiffle calling him Russel <laugh>

Big 'R' * must see some worth in keeping Jones.

If he's Plan B, then it's an expensive one but likely to be more effective than Revell (still not sure why we signed him) who would be the cheaper option.

Last Season it was the big guy / little guy. Looks like a line up this season that will play a bit more football with two footballing strikers. If that is the case why aren't we hanging on to ALF?

I agree with Slade that we're making progress, but there are still some odd decisions being made.

    * think that might be the end of the line for the natural progression.

It is expensive but I can well imagine KWJ coming from the bench to score on a regular basis. Neither Revel or Macheda seem to have the same impact off the bench.

I mentioned on the Alf thread I didn't buy the moving up North thing. I think there's been fall out, maybe over the way his loan was 'organised'. He's pretty much said goodbye, then has been replaced by Mason and Doyle. Everyone at the club seems to know it's definitely over for Alf at City and I'm not sure potential knocking a couple of hours of his journey home would be that terminal.

Well Bournemouth managed to cover his wages for a bit, Wednesday may be willing/daft enough to pay. Feel he would fit in more with their style of football. I'm sure Our Saviour * will make the right call.

    * natural progression never ends! <laugh>
