More of an enquiry than anything else... But does anyone participate in any of the Fantasy Football leagues out there? I think there were some of us in the official Premier League one last season; http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ But has anyone tried the one for the Football League? http://fantasy.football-league.co.uk/ Is anyone going to play either or both of these? I know we have a few things going, like the predictor league, but anyone doing these too? I tend to do the Premier League in a league with guys at work - but quite fancy giving the Football League one a go!
I would definitely be up for it!! I had never done a fantasy league until last season. My girlfriend did one at work and it basically ended up with me taking over and doing it for her!! It was funny though, as some of her colleagues weren't happy she was taking part, purely because she was female. I can confirm that we beat all of the guys who had a problem. And beat them easily!! So yer, count me in on either the Premier League or Football League. I think the Football League one would be more appropriate for obvious reasons!!
Im signed up and have hopefully got a strong team!! Although i did find it very hard not to just choose Watford Stars and Legends. There are a few not associated with the club though.
Bobby - I'm not sure, I think it tends to be a couple of weeks before the season starts but can't see anything on their site yet! Kingy - that was what this was for really - see if anyone is doing one, and if not, if we should start one, and on which league - not sure if everyone will want to do both I will do a team in both I expect, but may wait a little while for new signings
I usually do the Prem one and of course fleetingly have included myself on the predictor, I plan to pay more attention this year and I may as well have a crack at the football league fantasy game as well.
unlimited tranfers in the FL one until the 1st game of the season- no worries. PremLge one hasn't even started anything yet.
i will do SLB's and usually do the Premier League one...but i quite often give up with one or both about half way through the season because i've forgotten so often it doesn't seem worth it anymore lol..i'm going to definitely get through a whole season this time!
Dont worry, i have set a reminder on my Ipod for every friday so will hopefully get through hassle free. I can send you a reminder too if you like on a friday night Also how many people would be up for a private league?? Let me know and i will set one up for us.
I did just the premier league one last year, but this year I am going to both. Already made my team for the championship one- it's looking good
well i was thinking it would be nice to have a non-competative league so we can see how we are getting on and keep tabs. Also if the combined score of the top 5 players in our league is highest of all private leagues we get prizes for it
Me thinks i will look into it. If it requires a lot of work i will have to give it a miss, what with uni and the fun league.
Count me in for the Premier legue one. I did it last season and it was really good. If somone sets it up let us know the pin and we can have a not 606 Watford League.
