I'd look forward to being abducted - if it was Scarlett Johansson

    (in "Under the Skin"......)

That's a good idea, we should do one. My guess is the Bermuda Triangle.

We could do a fatalities sweepstake as well. I'll stick my neck out and say 239.

    I'll go higher, Bruce.

Unless all the crew had parachutes.

You're welcome to go higher. There are/were 227 passengers and 12 crew.

Bloody useless news report. Still, at least there will have been at a minimum of 2 stowaways in the baggage compartment.

Looks like it was the pilots, or very experienced terrorists who know all about aviation to manage to stay out of radar

The thing is - no one knows. I can't recall a story that has baffled the media for quite some time.

We had developed a brand new maritime search and rescue plane and were in full production with the Nimrod MRA4 when the government decided to scrap the project at a right off of over £3Billion 4 years ago, they would have been in service by now and would have located missing flight MH370 no problem. Blame the strategic defence review for this mystery.

Indeed. A fine airplane the Nimrod, in both of its roles.

This has washed up on La Réunion Island (near Mauritius), they think it's possibly part of the wing of the missing Boeing 777...

Seems that with the tides and currents where is turned up fits in with the area where they thought the plane actually went down.

It's to be hoped it is, or there's a bundle of other aeroplanes dropping bits all over.
