I'm not sure going and sitting in an office to browse this forum instead of doing it at home should class as you working.

This is good Chazz but it doesn't show the full extent of the play for the CJM goal, he battled for it in midfield, never gave it up as a lost cause, finally got some clear air to run into with the ball at his feet, then finished clinically. Even though the opposition looked poor it was something to get excited about, if he carries that over into the season he's got every chance of developing into a very good player.

    Robbie who?

I'm slightly concerned that CJM had that running like a woman action going on for his goal.

Bruce seemed to be having a good chat with someone rather than just a handshake at the end of the game as well. Are our coaching staff wearing blue jackets this season or was it one of the Al Ain staff? Wonder what Babel is on.

They could of course have been talking about Abel's hairdo. "We've all been trying to work it out in training, I know it from somewhere but can't place it, you got any ideas?"

Personally I'm going for Dwayne Dibley as the inspiration for it though.

He never will learn to pass, it's not in him. Shame he's not one to shoot either. Where did it all go wrong - in the playground I suspect.

Assume this is about Aluko. He's actually a really good forward passer when he gets the space to turn and look up. Sadly that's all too rare.

I'm not against him playing as an attacking midfielder but he needs to be deeper than he normally plays. He simply can't lead the line with his back to goal.

I believe you're correct in saying playing deeper than he does would help him. - he can pass the ball when the time & space allows, but he seems to always have his his eye to the ball on the ground, in tight positions, as a result the next man is on him and he has to beat him ( or not as happens frequently) , so the opportunity is lost. It would be an interesting experiment to switch him & Hudds to see if that configuration could be more effective. Just a thought.

"...****s across the goalkeeper". I'm sure the commentator says that for CJM's goal.
    Is he officer Crabtree?
