Lenihan's looked good during pre-season too, put it on a plate for N'Doye there!

To this day I still do not know how Faye didn't score a goal against Everton away in the 2013/14 season, he could of scored a hatrick!

    Missed a sitter I presume?
I think we need to move him from the shop window to the bargain basement.

CJM and Luer both look well capable of challenging for the first eleven this season. I have been impressed with both - Particularly CJM on the left.

Lenihan hasn't looked too bad anarl. If it is going to be a 4-4-2, I can see him being RB with Elmo RM.

That was a good performance, despite the ****ness of the opposition. It looks like SB has the lads sit off a fair bit, happy for them to keep possession in their own half until we can knick it off them or they make a mistake.

CJM has got better and better, he still has work to do (he let the ball go out of play when it just needed a touch) but his goal was really well taken. Luer and Lenihan also look promising and I think this lot will be in and around the first team this season.

Didn't notice much of Faillia, but if he was in defence that can only be a good thing. Still don't think he'll get a contract, but must be a good experience for him and who knows, he might get a chance somewhere else in England.

Of the strikers that played, I thought Hernandez was the most lively, he contributed to a lot of connecting play which was good to see.

Aluko was probably my MoTM (well, man of the half), he hasn't lost any sharpness and while there were a couple of moments of greedyness, he looks a lot more comfortable playing in an advanced midfield role rather than as a striker.

I'm receiving a vibe of positivity from this thread. What has happened guys? It is normally all doom and gloom on this forum.

Got all my times to bollox didn't I, thought it was a 5pm KO ffs, I did manage to see what must have been the goal of the game though from CJM, never gave up on the ball and hit a nice finish, hopefully a sign of things to come.

Nice work out by all accounts against a pub type team. Should be more but hey it is only about fitness.

Sheffield Utd away on sunday will be a better indicator of where we are - one week from Huddersfield.

It looks like the badge itself was (poorly) cropped, there is white between the badge and where the paper ends.
