Aye, its more than a fair point mate. The Glaswegians (or rather the blue half of Glasgow) let themselves down massively that night.

I was in Manchester that day - absolute carnage!!
Took me 2hours to drive along Deansgate as there were p155ed up bodies all over the road. The hard men of Glasgow charged a bus right in front of me as some school kids were upstairs giving them lip put of the window. I can't imagine what it must have been like for the old dears downstairs(this was 4pm in the afternoon) I've never been so pleased to see he M62 in my life. What I saw was bad enough but it got a lot worse apparently.

A load of them didn't make it to Manchester coz they ran out of fuel on the M74 so the day could have been a lot worse

Rangers played in Sunderland for Benno's testimonial in 1993. There was hell on then too

We saw no bother at all at the match or anywhere near The Blue Bell or The Windmill area (Sea Road) :emoticon-0145-shake and the only bother we heard about was caused by some Skunks pretending to be Rangers fans . . . . and they soon got sussed, and deservedly 'put in their place' :emoticon-0165-muscl (by Sunderland and Rangers fans) :emoticon-0105-wink:

I was in the Gluepot bar at the Roker Hotel before Benno's testimonial & there was no bother.
After the game we went to the Harbour View & saw no violence in there either, loads of pissed up Rangers fans but nee trouble worth talking about.
It was the next day when I got up I read all about it.
Have to say, I never witnessed any of it.

There was plenty of it witnessed in Manchester, ****ing rodents.

They seem to have a tough man attitude indoctrinated into them from birth, an unhealthy balance of anger and aggression too. All mouth.

Ok I stand corrected, they're either cowardly or all mouth.

I lost count of the amount of times my pals and I had to jump to the defence of the same few Scottish dickheads whilst in the forces because they couldn't back their stream of **** up.

I'm sure there are plenty of nice ones also but like everything else, to me, their dickheads have the loudest mouths and the biggest paint brushes.

I remember many years ago we had some trouble from Celtic fans after a friendly match in which we beat them about 7-1. They were great until closing time but all reason seamed to evaporate once they got outside into the streets, it was mayhem, also after the Benno testimonial the Rangers lads left a bad taste but we do have more in common with them than not, as we are all treat the same by our London centric political masters in fact I think they know we are treat worse than them tbh.

He's edited it now, his vagueness was far too close to the bone for him, maybe he got chizzled in the arse by one of his dad's great mates.
