Interesting comments on this thread, for me Nugent is washed-up and I'd rather have our strikers.

These Leicester numpties will soon find out that money doesn't get you everything and Eriksson will leave as soon as the going gets tough.

These Hull numpties will soo discover football in the 21st century and realise money generally does get you everything.

Sad but true (well, sad for you)

Gone by the turn of the year? <whistle>

There's that much pressure and expectation at Leicester, it's either get promotion or the manager's head goes. The situation is almost untenable before the season has started - Thai owners, ex-England boss, ex-England players....

It can only end in tears!

It's not going to be as easy as you think, you are one of the strong favourites but for all you know you could lose King before the end of August and have major trouble replacing him.

If you wanna talk about squads, lets talk about squads: Both 4 3 3

    Gulasci Schmeical
    or
Rosie Chester(maybe Ayala) Hobbs Dudgeon Peltier Mills St Ledger Konchesky

Bullard Evans Koren Danns Wellens King

Stewart Fryatt Simpson Vassell Nugent Gallagher (thanks wikipedia......and common sense)

together that makes the best team of:

Gulasci (purely on rep, but tbf Schmeical relies on the surname, could be wrong with tis one though)
    Defense:

Rosenior(Probably the best RB in the NPC, thats not bias) Mills(One of the best defenders in the league, but still shouldn't have spent that much) Hobbs(Much better than St. Ledger, if Ayala joins then I'd put him here, definately on the same level as Mills....and only 19/20 Dudgeon (Man Utd youth Player of the year clearly says something right)

    Midfielders:

Danns (not gonna lie, would've been very happy to see him join us, but I guess money talks) Bullard (When fit, he's the best midfielder in this league as he proved by winning Ipswich POTY in 16 games!) King/Koren (both very much on a par, Koren single-handedly kept us afloat in the first half of last season but unfortunately had an on/off second half to the season so about even)

    Fowards:

Stewart (Younger, faster, more exciting than Vassell. He creates lethal chances from nowhere and when he comes back from injury, could be a serious contender for NPC Player of the Year) Fryatt (I personally think Fryatt is slightly better than Nugent straight up the middle, when we were minorly linked with him this summer, I genuinly thought he'd be a back-up to Fryatt) If Maynard joins than him but if not Nugent as a left sided striker.

    I beleive thats Hull City:8 Leicester City:3

You never know, but I would highly doubt it.

He signed a new contract after the end of the season.

If Maynard signs then only one of your first team would walk into ours.

    Forever.

It shows intent at staying at the club.

King is our captain and he has came through our ranks.

He will not want to sit on the bench at West Brom because he is Leicester through and through and will want to be playing with us in the Prem.

Nobody thinks it's going to be easy, any claim of that is merely a rebuttal of wumming. <ok>

I do believe we are worthy joint favourites at this point though.

Barmby can play as a striker or attacking midfielder.. he scored 6 goals last season, mostly off the bench, anyone thinks he's **** doesn't know football. Whatever his age he knows where the goal is..

You're deluded to think Danns is better than Bullard and the same with Gallagher ad Stewart. But you are a Leicester fan so that explains it!
