Prediction League It's Back! 15/16 Stevie G Predictiooo League - Rules & Gameweek 1

You know the season is fast approaching when the infamous Stevie G Predictiooo League is back!

The rules are pretty much the same as last year although have thrown in a couple of new ones just to spice things up a bit. Please read the below to familiarise yourself with the rules and then post your predictions for the season & game in this thread.

I'm also possibly looking to add a "cup comp" at some part of the season probably based around the FA Cup to run in conjunction to the weekly league which will be a group stage followed by H2H knockout.

Rules

• 2 games will be selected each week, the LFC match and one other random match from the Premiership.
• Matches selected will be from the League, Europa & League Cup (FA Cup will be used for the cup comp)
• Need to predict the score and name 1 goal scorer for the LFC game.
• Need to predict just the score for the other match
• You will only get points for the correct scorer IF you have got the correct result.
• New rule - You can predict the time of the first goal of the game for any team. Get it within 5 minutes either way and get extra 2 bonus points.

Scoring

Games

• 6 Points for the correct scoreline (Bonus 2 points for correct 0-0 scoreline)
• 2 Points for the correct result & GD (includes a draw)
• 1 Point for the correct result
• -1 Point for incorrect result
• 2 Points for time of first goal of the game within 5 minutes each side.

Scorers Points

Only applicable if you get correct result

• 1 Point for correct scorer if select a forward
• 3 Points for correct scorer if select a midfielder
• 5 points for correct scorer if select a defender/GK
• 5 Points for No LFC scorer

Bonus Points

• 10 for correct final league position
• 10 for correct final LC position
• 10 for correct final FAC position
• 10 for correct EL position
• 10 for correct Golden boot winner
• 10 for correct Golden glove winner

No, because my spreadsheet has all LFC games in first column, and other game in 2nd column, so it's easier to copy across the scores in that order if I put LFC game first.

Means should be more reward if you get correct result and can't just pick up points every week for predicting Benteke to score when he goes on a 28 game scoring run
