Played an anti Nazi league gig once in Europe to around 20k people back in the early 90s. About 30 Nazi sympathisers are at the front doing zeig heil gestures.

I challenge them, they storm the stage and as I'm swinging the mike stand as a mace I look around and the rest of the band f off. Bouncers help remove the idiots and eventually the rest of the band file back on stage as I introduce them as coward number 1 etc... Best response from a crowd ever.

Had the pleasure of seeing Foo Fighters only a matter of days ago in Scotland. They were class and as cliche as Ghrol is, he knows how to please a crowd, he's a legend.

The Foos do my tits in! I love some of their songs but every album is the same: 1 cracking song, 2 decent singles, the rest filler. It just so happens that usually the one cracking song on each album turns out to be the best song by any band around at the time so they manage to get away with it :D

Bit late posting on this, but watched the live Itunes set. What a legend.
Apparently the tickets are basically a lucky draw and you don't know who your going to get, so doubt the guy was a genuine Foo's fan.

Seen them at Milton Keynes on the Sunday as well as Wembley and Hyde park. Also seen them at Nottingham on their stadium tour. Never done a bad show yet, Milton Keynes was the best of the lot so far.

I'm going on holiday in October to California, and guess who should happen to be playing The Forum (stadium used in the 'All my life' video') wile I'm there :D
Me, my wife and 2 boys are going to see them, my boys first proper gig.
    Can't wait!!!

    Foo's are ****in awesome live

p.s. T in the park set is (was) on BBC Iplayer

He's no Curt Cobain like but he's alright. (Having chucked the cat amongst the pigeons I'll be off now) <ok>
