    Fryatt vs Vassel
    Simpson vs Waghorn
    Adebola vs Howard
    Mclean vs Gallagher
    Barmby vs Nugent

If it were the Ryder cup you might pick both side's top 5 something in this order..

    who wins it?

    Fryatt
    Waghorn
    Howard

    Barmby

Barmby would be useful off the bench.

What is your obsession with us?

Please bear in mind we are also after Maynard with a 5.2m bid + add ons on the table.

    So.

    Maynard.
    Simpson.
    Howard.
    Gallagher.
    Nugent.

Plus Nugent should be against Fryatt and Barnby against Vassell in which case it'd be Nugent and Vassell which would get those.

Firstly, Adebola, Barmby and McLean are quite ****. All of our strikers are better than those 3.

    Secondly, Gallagher isn't a striker.

Thirdly, the order in which you put them is very debateable.

Fourthly, we've not finished signing strikers.

    Bit of a silly thread.

Nah AKCJ, Nugent is a SLIGHTLY worse striker than Fryatt (under Pearson), and £5.2m for a Top NPC/Lower BPL player is wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much. Oh and don't expect too many wonders from Konchesky either.

Barmby might be at the end of his career but anyone who thinks he's **** is not knowledgeable enough to comment.

I wouldn't swap Fryatt for any of Leicesters current strikers, I'd probably agree with James' list.

    Fryatt
    Waghorn
    Howard
    Gallagher
    Barmby

If you want fast promotion (which our owners do) then you have to dig deep into the wallet.

As for Konch I am actually quite excited by him, he is a good solid player and one that will add experience to the LB slot which we havn't seen for years.

You have been reading Brizzle's local rag then.

The same paper that said he had signed a new contract and had even made up a quote about him staying.

Why is it too much? It would be too much for you maybe. You don't get less points if your players cost more you know.

Nugent is pretty similar to Fryatt, except Nugent had been bought by a Premier League club at Fryatt's age, has a history of scoring 20 goals in the championship, and is faster <ok>

It's also a good idea not to blow it all on overpriced mediocrity.

You're not getting Maynard, because he won't leave bristol. Not to another championship club anyway.

He's **** now. How many goals did he score last season? By your own fans accounts he's the worst of your strikers. Even behind Adebola.

Exactly how much money did you spend last season compared to us? And how many points were in it? I think the answer to that is, a lot and not many. Norwich hardly spent anything last year and got promoted whereas we spent money and came mid table. This whole "if you spend money you'll go up" theory is complete bollocks. It depends how good your team actually is, not just an individual.

Well, we have a wage structure that won't let us sign players over 35k p/w.

    So no Yakubu.

We want proven Championship players as Sven (and most fans) feel its the best way to get out of the league with a minimal risk.
