Any loan from Chelsea wont happen yet - may have been agreed in principle but will only happen just before season starts or shortly afterwards. Personally am relieved that Sako isnt coming here - far too inconsistent - reminds me of Danny N'Guessan. Any player who has interest from more than one team - any deal will be protracted. Just glad we arent doing business like Watford.

He's just had a medical at WBA according to SSN, so guess that isn't happening. You could do worse than Huddlestone, a lot of our fans gave him stick last season but he's still a quality player. He was a victim of his own success; he was impressive in our first PL season and just didn't hit those heights last year. It's testament to his effect on the team that he played badly and we were relegated. I don't want to see him leave because I think he's our best CM. You can have Meyler though.
I agree he was poor last season but his ability is obvious to see, relatively similar to cambiasso playing wise, is English and I can just see us fitting into our team brilliantly - particularly with someone like James doing lots of running around him and his passing and set pieces will be a real benefit to the team.
