I hope he doesn't leave.....i'm a big fan of his if you can't tell haha if he knuckles down though he could be a quality player! it can't help being in and out of the team like he was last season in the premiership he was better, more time on the ball and everything, quality at passing!!
Set up your profile as though you're a teenage girl, make the picture look as tarty as possible then add him again, you'll be his friend in no time. NB: If anyone can't see how an adult pretending to be a teenage girl in order to make friends on the internet could backfire, just give it a go, you'll soon find out.
I don't think Cairney is actually that slow, its just he doesn't run that much. No-one has ever really seen sprint fully and that's due to his laid-back, luxury style of play. If he worked on putting more effort in he could make a great CM. And anyway, I can't think of many Championship-standard CMs that are particually quick.
It`s not the fact that Cairney is physically slow that pains me, its the speed of thought which is sadly lacking too, and the predictability of his passing. In the premiership he had so much more space and time, in the Championship the midfield are onto to you in no time at all closing space down. If we remember the amount of times Cairney was caught in possession in the Premiership after they found him out it was nearly as bad as dithering George bless him, He definitely needs to apply himself and speed things up all round, yes he has a cultured left peg, but without oodles of time and space to wave it around he isn`t half the player.
