For those of you struggling and in need of a pedantic Manc... The term you are looking for is 'antisemitic' not 'racist'.

 

The Semitic label refers to pretty much anyone in the modern Middle East, make of that what you will.

 

The word 'Semite' does yeah, but when you stick 'anti' before it and 'ism' after it you're left with a word that is used to specifically define discrimination or hatred towards Jewish people.

I'm not sure how many Jews get offended by the term, certainly none that I know, but I'd imagine there's a few Muslim Spurs fans who are and probably the society of black lawyers get offended, on Yiddish people's behalf.

They're both jokes at the expense of the same people, yet only one offends our precious Sammy. He could be selective in what he takes offence to, what with one being his messageboard buddy and the other following a rival team, or he could just be thick. Either way his double standards make it easy to take the piss.

Well I've just asked my wife and she's not offended by either so both of you crack on.
