Stoke should buy him to be honest. With a good goal scorer up front they will do very well. Hughes has made some very good signings, I think Stoke will be next seasons Southampton in terms of surprising everyone. Joselu and Wollscheid in particular are big improvements over what they had. Van Ginkel is decent too, Shay Given is a decent replacement for Begovic. If they got Austin they could contend for 5th place easy imo.
I didn't rate Diouf at all before they got him but he looks like he can play. I think they're nailed on for top half but if Bojan stays fit and gets back to where he was I don't see why they can't be as good as Pool and Spurs.
Indeed, as I edited in my post. I think all they are missing is a 20 goal a season striker and they can challenge Pool and Spurs for 5th place imo. Cant see Joselu doing that in his first season, but he is very good.
Whats that Afellay like that they have signed, I dont watch Spanish horseshit football. By all accounts he hardly ever played for Barca anyway, is he any good?
I don't think Pool or Spurs have a 20 goal a season striker either. Only weakness I can see possibly is in goal. Looks like they'll go with Given who is getting on a bit and hasn't played much for a couple of years and Butland hasn't kicked on enough after rotting on loan or in the reserves. Begovic was worth ten points a season.
He was. He gets Football Manager/MOTD fans excited but their recruitment seems to be aggravatingly efficient considering how **** Hughes was for us so I expect him to do ok. Bojan is the key to it all though.
Well there is Kane, but even still, I think Pool and Spurs have enough goals in the rest of their squad to see them good. Gerrard was Pools top scorer with 8 or something last season and they still finished 5th. Not sure if Stoke have enough goal scorers in the rest of their squad to do the same.

I'd take Adrian over De Gea all day long, if we'd had De Gea instead of Adrian we'd be plying our trade in the championship.

Our defence isn't as bad as people make out. Was the 4th best last and now they have better protection from CM this season.
